In 2014 Craig Berger began conceptual designs for a simple, expandable, and no-fuss solution to limited space for a nursery in Brooklyn, NY. He hand cut the original prototypes in 2015 and used them over the following few years, re-assembling the shelves a dozen times to meet the needs of a growing toddler and a new apartment.
After a few years of rigorous testing Craig made some key changes to the design to better support stability and additional weight loads. He began developing 3D models with 1/4 scale printed prototypes, working with fabrication partners and creating workable full-scale prototypes.
